This is first-class Margaret River cabernet at an economy price. It has elegance and poise, the cassis and black-olive flavours fresh and detailed, the crisp tannins likewise. The colour, too, is bright and clear.

A finely balanced wine with an exciting future. Some chocolate emerged with time in the glass. From an excellent Margaret River vintage (is there any other kind?), this is a wine which should drink very well over the next ten to twenty years, but even in three to four years, it should score higher.

Leafy blackcurrant and bay leaf notes on the nose. The palate has firmish dry fine powdery tannins and a decent lick of complementing oak. Well-structured with a sustained finish.
