Palate Profile

Critic Awards

Raspberry, blueberry and blackberry form the basis of the fruit in this wine, the tannins are savoury and pervasive. The acidity has that salivating saline lick that is so common in the region, clove bud is woven through the finish. At this point, the oak feels a little obvious and while some of it it will soak into the fruit in time, the fruit has a delicacy that suggests a bit of a mismatch.
